Bid Coordinator
Starting as a Bid Coordinator you will be assisting internal customers with bidding related issues. Key responsibilities include receiving all tender alerts as well as distributing them to the relevant technical teams. You will also review and update the current tender portal registration list, as well as assist in the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, bids and tender submissions.

Intelligent Transport Systems
Transportation Technology Apprentices support the delivery of inter-urban highways technology and highways technology infrastructure, as well as Intelligent Transport System schemes. The AECOM Transportation Technology team is also involved in a wide range of projects and schemes, ranging from feasibility, concept, preliminary design, through to detailed design and implementation.

Project Manager
As an Apprentice Project Manager at AECOM, you have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects across a wide array of sectors. These include education, health care, sports facilities, residential and transport to name but a few, for both public and private sector clients. The role also involves working at all stages of the project from initial concept right through to construction and operation of the building.

Quantity Surveyor
Trainee Quantity Surveyors work within the AECOM project cost consultancy teams. The company’s cost consultancy services extends to all sectors of the construction industry in the UK and around the world. As a result, you could be working on projects as diverse as a new build office development or a new build high rise residential tower in London, through to sports stadia in Qatar for World Cup 2022. As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will also be actively involved across all stages of a project. Right from the initial project definition and brief to design cost appraisal, as well as procurement, construction and building use.

Traffic Civil Engineering
The AECOM Traffic team focuses on developing engineering measures to achieve a safe and efficient movement and interaction of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles on the roads. Consequently, its main focus is on traffic flows, road geometry, cycle facilities, traffic signs, pavement engineering, traffic signals and intelligent transport systems.

Water
AECOM’s work in this sector includes, Flood Management, Integrated Catchment Management, Hydraulic Modelling, Hydrology, Sustainable Drainage, Water Sensitive Urban Design, Dam & Reservoir design, and Hydro-power. In addition, it includes Mains Infrastructure Design (Clean and Foul) and Non-Infrastructure Design (Pumping Stations, Storage Tanks).
