Apprenticeships with Alfa Romeo

The Alfa Romeo Apprenticeship programme is managed in partnership with the UK dealer network. Alfa Romeo is one of the oldest and most evocative automotive brands which symbolizes driving emotion. That is why an Apprenticeship with the company is certain to be an emotional and exciting experience.

The origins of the Alfa Romeo name date back to 24th June 1910, when the company was born in Milan. The initials refer to the company’s original name: “Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili” (A.L.F.A.). The first car ever created was the 24 HP, designed by Giuseppe Merosi. Five years later, the company changed its name to Alfa Romeo, when Nicola Romeo took over the property. Alfa Romeo became synonymous with passion. Its unique approach in creating cars has inspired the best car makers around the world. The Alfa Romeo logo is also the unmistakable icon of the purest driving emotions for millions of enthusiasts worldwide.

Since the very beginning, Alfa Romeo has competed at the highest level of Motor Sport. The brand’s Quadrifoglio or “Cloverleaf” badge has been successful in every legendary form of competition, such as the Targa Florio, Mille Miglia and Le Mans. The Italian brand has won 5 world titles: the first GP World Championship ever in 1925 with the P2, the first two F1 championships with its legendary 158 and 159 Alfetta, the 1975 World Manufacturer’s Championship with the 33 TT 12 and the 1977 World Sport Championship with the 33 SC 12. Other successful Alfa Romeo competition cars include the outstanding P3, the amazing 6C 1750, the unforgettable 8C, the uncompromising 155 V6 TI DTM.

The current product range consists of the Giuletta, a 5dr hatchback, the Giulia, a 4dr Saloon, and the 4C in both Coupe and Spider configurations. Alfa Romeo also entered the premium SUV segment in 2017 with the new Stelvio which brings new features and dynamics to this part of the market.
