Apprenticeships with AVEVA
The AVEVA Apprenticeship scheme offers two distinct roles: Software Engineering or Business Administration. AVEVA has four locations in the UK: London, Cambridge, Chesterfield and Manchester. It also has an office in Derry, Ireland. In addition, AVEVA has a worldwide network of 56 offices in Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, the Middle East and the USA.
AVEVA’s primary focus is to create software that can be used across a wide range of industries and processes. The company provides software which manages over 1 million miles of oil and gas pipelines, at over 300 refineries. In fact, 19 of the world’s top 40 oil companies and 9 out of the 10 largest shipyards use AVEVA software. It also supports the needs of more than 1000 power stations and 10 of the world’s top 15 metal and mining sites.

Roles Available with AVEVA
The AVEVA Apprenticeship progamme offers the following roles:
- Software Development
- This is a 2 year programme which achieves a Level 3 Award. You will learn how to use a range of IT software such as ITIL, Microsoft Specialist in C#, Azure, MCSD and MCSA.
- Business Administration
- This is an 18-month programme which combines study and work experience in a field such as HR, Marketing, Finance, Communications or Admin Support. You will work towards a Level 2 Award and will receive an NVQ.

Education Requirements for AVEVA
To apply for a role on the AVEVA Apprenticeship scheme, you will need to show the following qualifications:
- At least 5 GCSEs grade C or above
- Maths and IT are required for software developers
