Apprenticeships with BT

There are a wide range of BT Apprenticeships available with British Telecom, in locations all across the UK. BT Apprenticeships are available at Advanced and Higher levels, as well as Full Degree level, depending on your qualifications and the specific role. However, roles are available not just in IT and Telecoms-related fields. They are also available in Customer Service, Finance, HR, Logistics, Engineering, Vehicle Technicians, Logistics – and even Cyber Security!

The BT Apprenticeships programme is structured in a way to develop the skills needed to complete your apprenticeship, which will take between 18 months and 4 years. Along the way, you will have the support of a dedicated apprentice development team. As most of the time is spent in the workplace, the majority of training takes place on the job. However, some apprenticeships also require additional training taking place at a local college or a specialist training organisation.

Education Requirements for BT

To qualify for the BT Apprenticeships programme, candidates will need to demonstrate having achieved the following qualifications:

  • 4 GCSE’s Grade 4 – 9 (C or above) as a minimum and this must include English Language and Maths.
