Apprenticeships with Ford
The Ford Apprenticeship Programme offers an extensive range of technical and business roles across the brand’s UK Dealer Network.
Under the banner of “The Ford Masters Apprenticeship Programme (FMAP)”, the company successfully recruits 500 new Apprentices into the Ford dealer network every year. A Ford Apprenticeship generally lasts between 12 months and 3 years. Technical programmes combine hands-on workshop training with block release for college training and study. In contrast, non-technical programmes are delivered entirely in the dealership.
A Ford Apprenticeship also includes extensive training on Ford vehicles in all aspects of vehicle servicing, repair and maintenance at one of the nationwide network of Ford Masters Approved UK training centres. There are training centres appointed across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to deliver the FMAP. Each training centre is closely monitored by Ford to ensure that it meets the highest standards of training required.
