The Kier Apprenticeship Programme:
As part of your programme, you will work towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship. This is delivered in partnership with a specially selected training provider who will support you through your formal study programme. In addition to the formal training, you will receive hands on experience, including mentoring and coaching from skilled members of the team. As a result, you will develop all the skills and knowledge required to become successful in your role and support your career progression through your chosen pathway.
Kier offers a variety of progression routes due to its size and geographical locations. This includes further career development programmes which support individuals to achieve professional recognition within their chosen occupation.
Kier also offers Intermediate, Advanced and Higher level apprenticeship programmes. The Kier Apprenticeship programme varies between 12 months and 4 years, depending on the subject and level of qualifications on entry. There are a wide variety of roles, either based on site or in one of Kier’s 88 offices.
The company is looking for enthusiastic, collaborative and forward-thinking people to join as they start their career. However, along with a passion for the job, you will need to satisfy some basics dependant on the role you would be developing into. Kier is keen for every apprentice to either have at least a GCSE (or equivalent) grade C in maths and English or have the potential to achieve this as part of their apprenticeship.
No matter what your background or current level of academic ability, Kier is looking for rising stars who have the potential to grow with the company.
