Apprenticeships with Mazda
The Mazda Apprenticeship programme recruits young people for a wide range of aftersales roles throughout the Mazda UK Dealer Network. Most people know Mazda for its iconic MX-5 sports car which made its debut in 1989. The MX-5 is now on its 4th generation and includes an RF version which has a rectractable folding-roof. Other products in the Mazda range include the Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda6, Mazda CX-3, Mazda CX-5
Defying convention is about more than standing out from the crowd. It’s about being creative, brave enough to go against the mainstream and doing things that others wouldn’t dream of doing. Mazda is very clear on one thing: “If it’s not worth driving then it’s not worth building.”
This philosophy shapes and drives the company and it’s why Mazda always seek different ways of doing things. It prides itself on being stylish, insightful and spirited in everything it does. Mazda’s new design theme, KODO, encapsulates the soul of motion and is a true reflection of Jinba Ittai: the unity of horse and rider.
Fascinated by elegance and fixated on creating an unbreakable bond between driver and car, Mazda’s designers have worked endlessly to create a design philosophy that embodies the dynamic beauty of life. This can be felt both inside and out, transferring the energy of movement to those who see it and creating an irresistible urge to drive.
Mazda’s Skyactiv-Technology represents a breakthrough in Mazda’s tireless pursuit of a human-centric philosophy. By enhancing a car’s dynamics on every level and in exceptional detail, Mazda has managed to improve performance even further. As well as excellent environmental and safety performance, Skyactiv-Vehicle Dynamics provide integrated control of the engine, transmission, chassis and body so you always feel at one with your car.
Throughout its history Mazda has defied convention with its innovative approach to car making. Mazda is still the only Japanese manufacturer to win the Le Mans 24 Hour Race – with the iconic 787B in 1991. The company is also the only one which has continued to invest in developing the unique rotary engine which powered the iconic RX7 and RX8. And, of course, Mazda is perhaps ost well-known for reinventing the affordable sports car with the MX-5. Mazda continues to produce great cars and to introduce innovative new concepts, such as the comany’s unique SKYACTIV Technology.
A Mazda Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and to be trained on the latest technology. Apprentices are employed by a local dealership, with on-the-job training provided by a mentor with many years of experience. The Mazda Apprenticeship programme also includes blocks of specialist training on Mazda’s exciting range of cars and innovative technology.
