Apprenticeships with Mazda
The Mazda Apprenticeship programme offers a range of roles in Aftersales at Mazda Dealers across the UK. Most people know Mazda for its iconic MX-5 sports car which made its debut in 1989. The MX-5 is the best-selling sports car worldwide because it has always stayed true to its original purpose.
Mazda has always defied convention with its innovative approach to car making. It was the first car brand from Japan to win the Le Mans 24 Hour Race – with the iconic 787B in 1991. And, it is also the only car brand which continues to invest in the rotary engine, which appeared in the iconic RX-7 and RX-8 sports cars. The rotary engine is expected to play a part in Mazda’s future hybrid powertrain systems.
Mazda recently launched a new way of selling cars in London. The “Mazda MyWay” scheme offers customers a hassle-free way to test drive and purchase a Mazda car or SUV. Mazda MyWay also collects and returns the customer’s car when it needs to visit a Dealer for its annual service. Even though the customer does not need to visit the dealership to buy their car, the car still needs to be serviced every year. This means there is still growing demand for new people to join the Mazda Apprenticeship programme in Aftersales.
The Mazda Apprenticeship programme gives you the chance to learn new skills and training on the latest Mazda systems. As an Apprentice, you will be employed by a local Mazda Dealer for the 2 or 3 years of the programme. The Dealer will also provide on-the-job training, working alongside technicians with many years of experience.
In addition, you will attend blocks of classroom and workshop training at Mazda’s Training Centre. This ensures that you are up to speed with all the latest range of cars and technology.
The Mazda Apprenticeship programme is open to anyone over the age of 16. You should also have a real passion for cars and be able to work as part of a team. If that sounds like you, then a Mazda Apprenticeship will be just the start of a long-term career with the brand.
