Apprenticeships with Suzuki
The Suzuki Apprenticeship programme is only one of a very small number which also offers Apprenticeship opportunities with its Motorcycle and ATV (All-Terrain Vehicles) retail network. These are in addition to the traditional Service Technician and Parts Advisor roles in the Automotive retail network.
There are 3 different Suzuki Apprenticeship roles for Service Technicians specialising in either Cars, Motorcycle or ATVs. All are all 3-year programmes with 17 weeks of Block Release training at the Suzuki Training Centre which is equipped with the latest Suzuki diagnostic equipment and tools, to simulate a dealership environment. The Parts Advisor role takes 30 months and includes 8 weeks of training to complete. In addition, there are 16 scheduled visits to monitor the Apprentices’ career progression in the workplace. Furthermore, all Suzuki Apprenticeship roles work towards the NVQ level 3 qualification upon completion.

The company’s range of cars includes: Celerio, Ignis, Swift, Baleno, Jimny, and Vitara, as well as the sport-utility SX4 S-Cross.
The motorcycle and ATV range includes:
- GSX range of sports bikes with engine capacities from 125cc to 1000cc
- Hayabusa and Hayabusa Z
- VanVan 125 and VanVan 200
- V-Strom range of Touring motorbikes with engine capacities from 25occ to 1000cc
- Burgman range of Scooters with engine capacities from 125cc to 650cc
- Intruder M1800 Custom
Roles Available with Suzuki
There are four different Suzuki Apprenticeship routes available with Suzuki, including programmes for candidates with a passion for Motorcycle and ATVs:
- Automobile Technician
- Motorcycle Technician
- ATV Technician (All-Terrain Vehicles)
- Aftersales Parts Advisor
Education Requirements for Suzuki
In order to apply for a Suzuki Apprenticeship, you should be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- 3 GCSEs Grade C or above, in Maths, English and Science
