There are a wide range of BMW Apprenticeships on offer at many of the brand’s sites all across the UK. Many of these are at local BMW Dealers or MINI Dealers. But if you prefer two wheels to four, then you could also apply for one of many BMW Apprenticeships with the BMW Motorrad network. And, for those of you with a passion for engines, you could apply for the BMW Apprenticeships programme at the BMW Hams Hall Engine Plant in the West Midlands. The BMW and MINI Dealer Networks offers a wide range of BMW Apprenticeships at one of their 150+ sites all around the UK. Roles include:

  • Parts Advisor
  • Service Advisor
  • Bodyshop Technician
  • BMW Genius

To apply, you will need to have at least 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above in English, Maths and ICT.

BMW Apprenticeships: MINI Plants at Oxford and Swindon

MINI is a fully owned brand within the BMW group of companies, with two factories in the UK. The plant at Swindon makes the main body panels for the MINI. The Oxford plant is known as the Home of MINI, and that is where the final cars are assembled.

The range of BMW Apprenticeships offered at MINI Plant Oxford and MINI Plant Swindon include:

  • Business Technician
  • Engineering Technician
  • Electrical Maintenance
  • Human Resources
  • IT Technician
  • Machine Controller
  • Maintenance Technician
  • Technical Laboratory
  • Toolmaker

BMW Apprenticeships: BMW Motorrad Dealer Network

There are 38 BMW Motorrad Dealer Network in the UK which also offer BMW Apprenticeships. These are primarily as a BMW Motorcycle Technician, although other roles may also be available depending on the needs of each dealer. You will receive the same level of training, but focused on how to service and repair the full range of BMW motorcycles. This includes the iconic GS range of Adventure bikes, as well as the more recent Sports bikes and even electric scooters. Roles include:

  • Motorcycle Technician.

To apply, you will need to have at least 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above in English, Maths and ICT.

BMW Apprenticeships: BMW Hams Hall Engine Plant

The BMW Hams Hall Engine Plant in the West Midlands is where the company makes a wide range of engines for BMW and MINI cars. As a result, there are many BMW Apprenticeships on offer, such as:

  • Engineering Technician
  • IT Technician
  • Quality Engineering
  • Engineering Maintenance: Logistics, Machining, or Assembly
  • Girls Go Technical

To apply, you will need to have at least 4 GCSEs. However, some roles require at least 5 GCSEs, so please check each role before you apply.
