UTC Norfolk

The UTC Norfolk was established with one very simple aim: to provide students with the skills and qualifications to either go on to university, or take up skilled employment at 18. The academy achieves this by offering a structured package of academic study, practical skill development and work experience.

UTC Norfolk has a particular focus on the advanced engineering and energy sectors, but it also provides a solid educational foundation for any student who has an interest in engineering, science, maths or computing careers.

The UTC is based in on the edge of the city centre on a fabulous site, in a dedicated £10m facility which has £1.3m of specialist engineering and scientific equipment to provide many unique learning experiences for students.

UTC Norfolk also benefits from having the support and sponsorship of a number of significant employers, the sponsorship of the University of East Anglia and the backing of the TEN Group who manage a number of educational establishments in the area.

In the first four years since opening, UTC Norfolk has managed to ensure 100% of all students in the class of 2016 and 2017 went on to study at top universities, were employed or enrolled in relevant apprenticeship programmes.

The catchment area for the UTC Norfolk covers the whole of the county of Norfolk and includes parts of North Suffolk and North-East Cambridgeshire based on the registered home address of the applying student.
