There are a wide range of British Airways Graduate Jobs in a variety of roles across the business. British Airways Graduate Jobs are based at London Heathrow airport, although some roles may also require working at other locations from time to time.
British Airways is one of the world’s leading global premium airlines and the largest international carrier in the UK. The company serves almost 40 million customers a year, and travels to over 170 destinations in more than 70 different countries worldwide.
Heathrow is British Airway’s operational home, one of the world’s busiest hub airports. The British Airways fleet has more than 300 aircraft, including Airbus 380 and Boeing 787. These aircraft make an average of over 1,000 flights a week to more than 300 destinations worldwide.
The British Airways Graduate Jobs programme offers six different routes:
Operational Research & Advanced Analytics
Across a series of placements, you’ll gain a rapid, in-depth and broad exposure to the way the business operates. Furthermore, your analysis will influence business critical decisions. For example, from the best day in January to begin a sale, to the impact of events on the other side of the world.
Unlock the power of data to inform and influence high level decision-making, across British Airways. Across a series of placements, you’ll gain a rapid, in-depth and broad exposure to the way the business operates. Furthermore, your analysis will influence business critical decisions. For example, from the best day in January to begin a sale, to the impact of events on the other side of the world.
Imagine managing a group of 75 cabin crew, or escorting the media on overseas trips as a PR Manager. How would it sound to manage ground staff at Gatwick? How about developing sales strategies for exciting new markets, or even influencing what the BA fleet should look like in more than 20 years’ time?
Over three years, you’ll complete three very different rotations in Marketing, Revenue and Sales. These 12-month placements will also give you exposure to every facet of BA’s Global Commercial business, perhaps with some overseas travel along the way. As a result, you’ll find many different ways to make your ideas count, from improving merchandising to managing digital marketing and social media to brainstorming new ideas for upgrades.
You’ll go straight into a hands-on role in the first of three one-year placements. However, whichever team you’re with, you’ll quickly become an invaluable asset, gaining exposure to the breadth and depth of challenges that only one of the world’s biggest and best-known airlines can provide. As a result, you could soon be working on the purchase of new aircraft, agreeing investments in the latest on-board products, or coming up with innovative ideas to generate revenue.
You’ll start straight away on the first in a series of real role placements within IAG Cargo, BA’s specialist logistics business. However, it’s a complex and challenging area that will quickly stretch and develop your people, project management and analytical skills. You will also complete placements both in the UK and abroad.
In addition to the British Airways Graduate Jobs summarised here, the company also offers a range of Apprenticeships:
