Graduate Jobs with Citroën
There are a range of Citroen Graduate Jobs available at the PSA Group’s UK Head Office in Coventry.
Founded in 1919, Citroen is one of the oldest French brands. By 1926, Citroen made almost one-third of the cars on French roads. At that time, the company had 31,000 workers producing 400 cars per day. This was a new European record for the time.
In 1934, Citroen launched the Type 7A, better known as the “Traction Avant”. This was an innovative new car which brought several exciting new technologies which had never been seen before. The Type 7A showcased front-wheel drive, hydraulic brakes on all four wheels, independent wheel suspension with a torsion bar, a floating-power engine with overhead valves and removable cylinder liners.
In 1936, Citroen began working on a small-engined, affordable car: the future 2CV. This eventually came to market in 1939 and was on sale for over 60 years with 5,114,940 vehicles produced. Citroen is also well-known for its stylish and innovative “DS” models which showcased sophisticated air suspension technology that was decades ahead of its time.
Furthermore, Citroen has had incredible success in the FIA World Rally Championship, in which the brand has achieved a record 96 race wins and 8 world titles. In 2017, the brand returned to the WRC with the C3 WRC which promises to continue the company’s proud tradition in top-flight motor sport competition.
As well as a range of family cars and passenger vehicles, Citroen also produces a range of small to medium-sized commercial vehicles with a number of different applications.
