Kier Graduate Jobs:
Kier graduates are fully immersed into the business and build skills that endure far beyond the programme. Your programme will give you a combination of practical on-the-job experience, formal technical and commercial learning, first-line management skills, and professional development.
You will also be supported in your day to day work by an on-the-job line manager. In addition, an experienced ‘professional body mentor’ will help you develop clear goals, expand your skills and work towards chartership of your relevant professional body. Once you’ve completed the three-year programme you’ll continue to receive ongoing support from your mentor and the GDP team to complete your chartership.
Kier’s undergraduate summer and year-in-industry placements provide you with a real opportunity to work in the business and be treated like an employee. Everything you learn in university will really take shape as you gain on-site experience. You will work on real projects with real responsibilities, build valuable industry contacts and gain project knowledge that will support you in your studies.
Students who complete a placement with Kier will receive first pick of the following year’s summer or industrial placements before the company advertises externally. By completing a Student Placement, you will be Kier’s first choice to fill the company’s graduate positions. Another benefit is that you will not have to apply through the Graduate Recruitment Process.
In addition to the Kier Graduate Jobs summarised here, the company also offers a range of Apprenticeships:
