Mercedes Apprenticeship

If you are looking for a Mercedes Apprenticeship, you may only think these are on offer at your local Mercedes Dealer. This is a good place to start because most of them will offer a Mercedes Apprenticeship in the Service dept. These can either be as a Service Technician or a Parts Advisor.

However, not many people think of Mercedes Commercial Vehicles Dealers when looking for a Mercedes Apprenticeship. Just like the usual car Dealer, the Commercial Vehicle Dealer also offers Service Technician roles. The skills learned with a Bus & Truck Dealer are very similar, but the vehicles worked on are much larger.

Furthermore, there are also Mercedes Apprenticeships roles on offer with Mercedes F1 Powertrain. This makes the hybrid engine and powertrain for the World Championship winning Mercedes-AMG F1 team.

So, let’s take a brief look at these Mercedes Apprenticeship roles:

Mercedes Apprenticeship – Work Experience:

Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz HQ in Milton Keynes does not offer its own work experience programme. However, you may find that your local Dealer – either Car or Bus & Truck – may be able to offer you work experience if you are interested in an Apprenticeship with them.

The best way to ask for work experience is to visit your local Dealer in person, rather than just calling them on the phone. Make sure you dress smartly and have a copy of your CV to hand. Be confident and smile.

If you are really interested in working for your local Dealer, either Car or Bus & Truck, your enthusiasm will show when you ask in the showroom. Actually walking into the showroom and asking politely will improve your chances of finding work experience.
