London Motorcycle Museum

The London Motorcycle Museum is the only place in the capital where you can see a wide range of motorbikes from the very early 1900s through to the present day.

There are over 170 motorbikes on display, including:

  • A 1902 Ormonde (a past participant in the Pioneer Run)
  • An Austin 7 engine housed in a Norton frame
  • A clutch of unique prototypes and ‘media stars’ which cannot be seen anywhere else
  • A barrel load of other British machines, including racers and road bikes from ABC to Zenith
  • T he Crosby collection, including 50 Triumphs, the last Triumph T140 out of the Meriden gates in 1983 and a 1991 Norton rotary in Paramedic livery.

Exhibits at the London Motorcycle Museum are not only for static display, as many of the Museum’s bikes appear in various shows and exhibitions across the country and abroad every year. The Museum has attended TR30C’s Beezumph rally, Beaulieu Motorcycle World, Hampshire Police and Cheshire Police open days, our Queen’s Golden Jubilee Parade, Paris’s Bike Show, ‘The Art of Motorcycle’ in Rio de Janeiro plus countless more events, gatherings and meets.

The London Motorcycle Museum also has on display a number of motorbikes that have starred in Eastenders, Dad’s Army, George and Mildred and Songs of Praise.

Trident & Rocket 3 Owners Club

The LMM is home to the TR3OC’s P1 prototype Trident and cut away Rocket 3 engine. The LMM also has 2 prototype OHC Triples, a T150, T160, X- 75 Hurricane and a Slippery Sam Replica.

British Motorcycle Charitable Trust

The LMM is home to the BMCT’s 1925 Scott Flying Squirrel, 1939 Sunbeam B24S,1947 EMC MK1, 1923 Beardmore Precision and a cut- a- way LE Velocette.

Bill Crosby/Reg Allen (London)

The LMM is home to the Crosby Collection featuring over 80 British machines including, the last Bonneville to leave the Meriden factory, 1929 Triumph OHC prototype, 3 Triumph TRW prototypes, 1907 Brown Precision, 1954 BSA Gold Star, 1947 500T Norton plus many more!

Opening Times

The London Motorcycle Museum is open on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 10:00 – 16:30.
