VW Apprenticeships - Audi Body and Repair Apprentices

VW Apprenticeships – VW Body Repair

The VW Body Repair network repairs and repaints the full range of VW Group cars after any accident. This means you may also work on cars from other VW Group brands, such as Audi, SEAT and SKODA. The VW Body Repair network offers the following roles:

  • Panel Technician
  • Paint Technician
  • Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET)

All three roles play a key part in the repair and repaint of VW cars which have been damaged or involved in an accident. A Panel Technician ensures that all body panels are replaced or repaired prior to painting. Paint Technicians need to learn how to apply a consistent paint finish to bring the car’s paintwork back to its original factory standard. Once the car has been painted, it is the job of the MET Technician to refit all the mechanical, electrical and trim parts that were removed before painting.

It takes 3 years to complete any of these VW Apprenticeships with the VW Body Repair Centres. You will need 3 GCSEs to apply.
